Course Description: Principles and concepts in pathogen biology, epidemiology and management of plant diseases caused by fungi, oomycetes, and nematodes. Laboratory techniques for isolation and identification of pathogens and disease diagnosis.

Course Description: Epidemiological principles and integrated disease management of important pathogens and diseases affecting key crops in various agroecosystems in Hawai’i and the global tropics. This course develops writing skills.
